Gates Foundation Names Advisors
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has created two advisory panels to help guide and evaluate its three grant-making programs. Thanks largely to a $30 billion donation by Warren Buffett in 2006, the foundation will award a minimum of $3.2 billion every year starting in 2009, through its three program areas: global health challenges, poverty in developing countries and education in the United States.
